The first lever-action shotgun was developed by the American inventor Benjamin Tyler Henry, who is best known for creating the Henry rifle. In 1862, he patented the Henry repeating shotgun, which utilized a lever action mechanism, allowing for faster reloading and firing compared to traditional shotguns. This innovation laid the groundwork for future lever-action firearms.
Winchester made a Model 1887 lever-action shotgun from 1887 - 1899. Norinco currently makes a reproduction of the Model 1887.
Marlin made a lever action .410 gauge shotgun from 1929-1932.These were made as a stockholders promotional firearm. The New model .410 was made from 2004-2005.

The Winchester Model 1886 was primarily a lever-action rifle, not a shotgun. However, the Winchester Model 1887, introduced in 1887, was the first successful lever-action shotgun. Approximately 60,000 Model 1887 shotguns were produced during its production run, which lasted until 1898. If you're looking for specific production numbers for different models, please clarify!
The Winchester model 1901 shotgun was made between the years 1901-1920.
There were model 1887 lever action shotguns made by Winchester ( I have a 12 ga). These are worth in the range of $1200 to $5000 depending on condition. I am not aware of any Model 1886 Winchesters in a shotgun.

I have no idea of what it is?Please describe the Winchester firearm with this serial number. Is it a rifle, shotgun? Is it a lever action, pump action,semi-auto,or bolt action? What caliber is it?what gauge is it(if a shotgun)?describe the barrel length. All this is required to get a answer to your question.
Revolvers are not lever action firearms. Sorry- can you rephrase your question? Lever action firearms are most often rifles, rarely shotguns. A very few lever action pistols were made, but not revolvers.
Yes, the model 1887 was a lever action shotgun for 12 and 10 gauge. They made some takedown models also. A quick search on www.gunbroker.com should give several variations and pictures. There is a new Chinese import copy of the 1887 with 20" barrel in 12 ga. They seem to be a very strong gun and fairly well made.
You've totally lost me! Is it a .22 lever action, with 18" barrel, or a shotgun? It can't be both! A 39a with N prefix was made in 1956, but they didn't make one with 18" barrel, so your's must be cut down length.
