I have spent a bit of time researching this and have decided that if they are not proud enough to make this info available...I don't want this tire. If you really have to know, you can go look on the physical tire for the DOT code. I have learned that the first two characters in that code give you the manufacturer and plant location. These codes can be found on line. Your dealer should be willing to look it up for you. Good Luck ! -john

Every manufacture of tires make a quiet brand. Normally any tire listed as a Touring Tire are very quiet. I currently have Yokohama Avid Touring-S tires on my 2004 Honda Accord and they are the quietest tires I have ever owned. I can highly recommend them.
Aspen is a bike tire made by Maxxis. -Reputed to be very good off-road tires.

No, it isn't easier 2 or 4wd. It is easier to notice with a non- run flat vs. a runflat tire. Also it is easier with touring/ high aspect tires like touring car tires vs. sport tires. Sport tires have a stiffer/shorter sidewall that supports more weight without deflecting than a touring tire.
Purchase what most manufactures refer to as Touring type tire. My 2004 Honda Accord came with noisy Michelin tires. After much research I bought a set of Yokohama Avid Touring-S tires and these are the quietest tires I have ever owned. If you want quiet these are just what you want.
