Theseus is clearly very excited about the marriage. We never really find out how Hippolyta feels about it.

∙ 11y agoThe first marriage we read of is the one between Duke Theseus and Hippolyta. Soon after, we hear of Lysander and Hermia's attempt to marry outside the jurisdiction of Athens. Later, Demetrius and Helena, Lysander and Hermia, and Theseus and Hippolyta all get married at the same time.
The wedding that is being anticipated in A Midsummer Night's Dream is between Theseus and Hippolyta. They are the Duke and Queen of the Amazons, respectively.
