They claim that toxins accumulate in the feet and need to be removed. This is a lie. The chemicals in the pads, however, are toxic and can get into the body through the feet. This is clearly not a treatment of any kind. No detox of any kind is necessary.
This kind of treatment is considered an alternative medicine.
