Way too numerous to list here... but to begin with: He was featured on a commemorative half dollar. He invented many chemical uses for agricultural products. Hundreds of patents were granted. He was instrumental in building up the reputation of Tuskegee Normal and Industrial Institute, later Tuskegee University. He changed how blacks were perceived in America. No mean feat there.
