The movie differed from the book. In the movie it was Neville Longbottom that informed Harry of Gillyweed. In the book it was Dobby the house elf. I agree with the above, but thought I should point out that Dobby is replaced by Neville a lot in the films. In Order of the Phoenix the book, it's Dobby who informs Harry about the Room of Requirement, but in the film, it was, yep, you guessed it, Neville!
