Nebuchadnezzar II, was a king of the Neo-Bablyonian Empire from 605 BC - 562 BC. He is featured in the Old Testament book of Daniel. He is commonly known for the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem and building the construction of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon (although he may not have done either).
He was the king of Babylon in Ancient Mesopotamia.
He was born 630 B.C and died 562 B.C. He was the king of Babylon and built the hanging gardens for his homesick wife. He was also a great military leader.
