Jerre Peterson was the brother of Dickie Peterson, and a founding member of the psychedelic northern California band Blue Cheer in the 1960s. In the mid-1970s he and Dickie formed the band Peterbilt, which was based out of Sacramento. Jerre recorded a solo album decades later.
