Depending on your religious beliefs and which tradition of vampires you follow, there are a few different explanations:
1: When God placed humans on this earth, you know Adam and Eve, he also placed a vampire here as a natural predator. The vampire was not in the garden of Eden. That's why it doesn't show up in religious texts.
2: There was a genetic mutation somewhere along the line, and that person became a vampire.
3: It is caused by a disease transmitted by bite. The disease developed in the dark ages.
4: Vampires aren't real. They were used in old novels as a symbol of lust and sex because those topics were too raunchy to publish clearly.

Nosferatu was the first Dracula movie ever made which came out in 1922. There was a silent film featuring a vampire released in 1913 called the Vampire, which to my knowledge was actually the first vampire movie. Vampire of the coast in (1909) was the first vampire movie ever made and it was a silent movie.
