Prior to the 1966 season, Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale held out claiming unfair negotiating practices by Dodger GM Buzzie Bavasi. Koufax and Drysdale claimed that Bavasi was using one against the other in negotiating their contracts. The two didn't report to spring training, instead signing to appear in a movie called Warning Shot. After several weeks of both sides airing their gripes to the media, they finally reached agreement on contracts. Koufax signed for $125,000 and Drysdale signed for $110,000.
