Henry Kissinger was National Security Adviser for Richard Nixon and for Gerald Ford. He served in that position from 20 January 1969 through 3 November 1975.
He was succeeded by Brent Scowcroft.

Yes. Tom Mortenson served as a youth advisor to President Nixon and was instrumental in working with the youth in support of many of the President's policies ranging from his efforts on creating the endanged species act to voting rights for eighteen year olds.
President Nixon claimed that the leaks of US bombing attacks in Cambodia would be a continuing threat to US Security. In response to these leaks, Nixon hoped to stop future ones. Secret wiretaps were set on at least 13 members of the National Security Council and on at least four newspaper reporters.
