Pretty much all of the Pharaohs built temples for Amun-Ra. Some of the more famous ones were built by Ramses II, Thutmose III, and Ramses III.

They built large pyramid temples which were like their churches on which innocent people were sacrificed to the sun god or any other god. They also worshipped the sun through daily life and prayed to it for their agriculture.
As far as I have read, the Pharaoh was considered "THE SON" of SUN GOD! As Sun God was the chief of all GODs in Egytian Mythology.
