Probably a tribal medicine man.
In Western Civilization, Hippocrates is regarded as the first doctor with whom an actual name (and even a medical school - on the island of Kos) can be associated.
Asking who was the world's first doctor is a bit like asking how long is a piece of string? Are we talking Western medicine? Does this include scientists like Louis Pasteur? The first doctors were probably those who used their own value system and set of beliefs to heal. These treatments would include herbs. I guess the early Western doctors were the "witches" who's accumulated and shared knowledge threatened the power structure of the existing societies. It is interesting to note that the first woman doctor in Australia (though possibly Victoria) and whose name escapes me at the moment, was refused entry to Melbourne University on gender grounds. She then went overseas to train - England or Scotland I think, and returned a qualified traditional doctor. This doctor was then instrumental in changing the status quo so that future female doctors could be accepted into the university. There is a plaque on a small church in Lonsdale Street, Mto this effect. She also had a significant influence on the Qeen Victoria Hospital which no longer exists.
I was asking about the world's first medical doctor, meaning a person who was perhaps formally trained in any line of medicine, Western or otherwise, that our society might recognize today (2020).
