I'm assuming the rest are Brig (1-star) Generals, but I could be off on the exact numbers. I would look at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, OH, for more information about them. I know at least 2 are stationed there, 1 Lt. General and 1 (newly-pinned) Maj. General. The 1980 class of the Air Force Academy Colorado was the first to graduate women and is the main source of Generals. As more women graduate into the officer ranks, we will see more and more Generals in time. Only the US Army has a 4 star General at this time.
