∙ 13y agoZeus and Metis. But there was a prophecy that if Metis gave birth, the child would overpower Zeus. Zeus didn't want to lose his place so he swallowed Metis while she was a pregnant and soon Athena came out of Zeus's head, Metis did not give birth and Zeus was not overpowered.

∙ 12y agoAthena was born from Zeus' head. She sprang out in full body armour, because at the moment Zeus needed a warrior for battle. She therefore has no mother because she only came from Zeus, well his brain technically.
