The first people to hear about Christ's birth were people all the way back to Isaiah's time when he prophesied the coming of the Messiah.
If you mean when he was actually born it was Mary or Elisabeth, and the first one to see Christ were Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and the Magi. The shepherds were the first people to hear about it and saw them first. The Magi came to vsit them many months after.
According to Christianity, the first people to hear of the good news of Jesus' birth were the three wise men. It is speculated however, that the nearby shepherds were the first to hear of his birth.

Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are the New Testament books of the Bible referred to as the Gospels, which is translated from the Greek word euangelion, meaning "good news". There are eye witness accounts of the ministry of Christ. These stories reveal the truth about His birth, death and resurrection. There are also accounts of the miracles and many quotations of Jesus during His earthly ministry.
