The Israelites of The Bible used the word Gentiles in reference to any persons who were not Israelites. Jesus himself also used the word in this context.
Gentiles were any non Jewish nation
All the races of mankind. The Bible does not emphasize any of today's racial categories. However, it is clear that the term Gentile, a good translation of the Hebrew term Goy, refers to a people (singular) or the peoples (plural). Therefore, the intended meaning of the word Gentiles is "all the (other) peoples" (other than us whoever us may be).
Non israelites
Paul was the apostle to the Gentiles.

Christmas .Another answer:The term "gentile" (upper or lower case) refers to anyone who is not of the Jewish race or faith; therefore gentiles do not celebrate Jewish holidays.(Mormons refer to non-Mormans as "gentiles," but this use of the word is unique to them.)
Human race.
(Luke 21:24)"... and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled."("Nations." "Gentiles"(Heb.) ghoh‧yim′, "goyim.")
Any person who is not a Jew is a Gentile, so that encompasses any other race or color of skin.
