Truthfully,there is no true way to determine this.I think it is a metter of opinion.I mean,it would be easy to say that the North were the most hated and feared.Just like it would be easy vice versa.So in conclusion,all I'm trying to say is that this is a matter of opinion.

When he was assassinated, those that hated him felt guilty and began to look upon him as a hero. After his death, people reexamined his words and speeches and found great ideas and humanity.
