Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon with Armstrong while Michael Collins orbited 60 miles overhead. It was the last spaceflight for all 3 crewmembers. Armstrong and Aldrin retired shortly after the mission. Collins was offered command of the Apollo 17 mission, but he chose to retire instead of risking his life on another spaceflight.
The other two men to go with him are Michael Collins and Edwin Aldrin jr.
Only one other person landed with Neil Armstrong, 'Buzz' Aldrin.
Michael Collins remained aloft in the command module.
The names of the two astronauts with Armstrong , in the Apollo 11 were Michael Collins and Buzz Aldrin.
No only one man went to the moon with Neil Armstrong, he was Edwin Buzz Aldrin.
Buzz Aldrin walked on the moon, but Michael Collins remained in orbit.

No humans have been to Mars yet. Just robots. yes, no humans have landed on mars till now as technology now is not much advanced(i know it's advanced in gadgets world )..... so it will cost more if they decided to launch a manned mission towards mars! so they waiting for a better technology to arrived till 2020, In 2012 a private project named Mars One was announced, aiming to establish a settlement on Mars in 2023!
No because there has been more people on the moon so he doesn't matter anymore
He was sent to the moon by the United States. At the time, there was a space race between the United States and the USSR to get to the moon and beyond first. This was the more political reason for him (and the whole crew) to be sent.
Neil Armstrong never lived on the Moon, he just visited it. He was the first person to visit it as well. If you would like to know more about Neil armstrong. He's not that hard to find on the internet. Look in Wikipedia, google, yahoo etc. You will find him in many books in shops.
Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first humans to land on any heavenly body outside earth when they landed on the moon on July 20th, 1969. There was also one other moon landing in 1969, and four more over the years 1970, 1971, and 1972.
No Armstrong was not worried when he landed on the moon. He was more excited
Yes. 12 people have walked on the Moon, two people from each of 6 different missions that landed on it.
He saw very big craters and saw much much more......... i dont know im just guessing :-P lol ha ha

people say it never happened, and that they never landed on the moon. the conspiracy grew and more people became suspicious and that's why they haven't been since.
11 more men set foot on the Moon after Neil Armstrong. He did so in 1969. The last time anyone was on the Moon was in 1972. It would be far more expensive now, and after sending people to the Moon, scientists wanted to do other things and so there have been many different things doen since then, but people may go to the Moon again sometime.11 more men set foot on the Moon after Neil Armstrong. No because there has been more people on the moon so he doesn't matter anymore
To date no astronomers have landed on the moon. The only scientist to walk the surface is Jack Schmitt, a geologist. For more information debunking the moon hoax myth, see: www.clavius.org
Neil Armstrong he was the first man/person to step on the moon.
The first two men were Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, however there were 10 more men (in 5 additional landings) that walked on the moon between 1969 and 1972.
Neil armstrong feared that there would be problems and difficulties in space and on the moon. Also, more specifically, suffocating from "oceans of dust" on the moon.
Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon. No one is more famous than that.
