The tiger snake, black mamba, taipan and kraits are also very venomous. The tiger snake eats almost anything and the black mamba can reach up to a speed of 12 km/h.The inland Taipan is considered the most venemous snake based on LD50, however there have never been any confirmed human deaths by inland Taipan bites. Any of the Big Four Indian species are concidered far more deadly because of their proximity to population centers and the snakes' aggressive behaivor when threatened. So, the king cobra, common krait, Russell's viper, or saw-scaled viper can easily take the title.
King Cobra will win cz It is a Snake Eater
They are not the most lethal snake species, that title belongs to the inland taipan. King cobras can reach ten feet in length.
its found in Australia its called inland taipan also called by people in Australia the firerce snake. it kills more people tthan a black mamba, cobras and vipers.EDIT: Actually Belchers Sea Snake is considered the most venomous - it's venom has to be quick acting, as it feeds on fish.

king kobra. Well the largest extinct snake would be the Titanaboa which was as long as a bus however it was not venomous. The most venomous land snake according to the LD50 would be the Inland Taipan. While the most venomous of all snakes is the Hydrophis Belcheri or Belcher's Sea Snake. The last two are not extinct but the Taipan is very rare. The King Cobra is not extinct.
