I am almost positive about this, but Super Sonic would crash Fire Mario in a fight. Super Sonic can fly, for one, and has unbelievable strength and speed. Fire Mario has more endurance and the ability to shoot fire balls from his hands. Im sorry Mario, as i am a huge Nintendo fan, but in that state, i don't think you can win. Maybe he could use a weird hybrid of a Mega-Mushroom and a Super Star to take Super Sonic down, but he is screwed otherwise.
Super sonic can travel faster than the speed of light, as he managed to escape a black hole. So what if Mario can shoot fire? That would tickle the hedgehog! How does Mario have more endurance than super sonic? Oh right, he doesnt. How could i forget? If sonic just flicked fire Mario in the ear he would lose his form instantly. And im completely certain that if Mario, or anyone, were to be hit by a faster-than-light hedgehog, they would be completley obliterated. Point made. Summary: Fire Mario has literally no chance against super sonic, no matter what he tries.
It would likely result in a tie, with a slight edge going to Super Sonic because of his ability to fly.
Let's narrow the fight down to a plumber and a hedgehog. A plumber is fat, while a hedgehog doesn't actually run that fast. The plumber has the easy size advantage, so he can step on the hedgehog, if he wasnt so fat.

∙ 13y agoDefinitely Super Sonic, he posses the power of all seven of the mystical chaos emeralds, his already supernatural abilities are juiced up even more than normal, Red Star Mario doesn't have a chance, especially if Super Sonic harnesses the power of the Chaos Control.

∙ 12y agowell yes because if you go on You tube and put Mario vs Goku from Mario bros z he totally wins because he has many powers. he may have lost the first battle but on the second battle goku teams up with vegeta and Mario teams up with Luigi and i tell you in the end Luigi wipes out goku and vegeta like nothing. there was even something like Mario vs every body.

The Main Possibilities are about air or ice/slippery in terms of air abilities Luigi has the upper hand (Higher jumping and can flutter like a Yoshi) but if it is icy/slippery Mario has the upper hand as Luigi has worse traction than Mario.
But overall Mario and Luigi have equal strength in most scenarios.
