because O has 2 non-bonding electron pairs.

To add to this, when there are 2 non-bonding pairs, they become lone pairs which repulse the 2 hydrogen somewhat which changes the angle from 180 to 104.5.

H2S (hydrogen sulfide) is not a linear molecule because it has a bent molecular geometry due to the repulsion between lone pairs of electrons on the sulfur atom. This creates asymmetry in the molecule, resulting in a bent shape rather than a linear one.

S is more electronegative than H and also the molecule is asymmetric (not linear), so it will be polar.
