As soon as the water is hot enough to form bubbles, the ballon will start melting where bubbles are formed, and ballon will soon "explode" or rather "implode".

∙ 12y agoBarring any effect of heat on the elasticity of the balloon the balloon would burst because the air inside the balloon gets heated. Hot air expands, thus the pressure inside the balloon increases when it is heated until the balloon bursts.

∙ 11y agoBoiling point of water is 100 deg celsius. But the combustion temperature for the balloon would be more than 100. Water does not allow the temperature to go beyond its boiling point ie 100. So firing is denied.
