It is important because ''people could know what place are important and protected " World Heritage Sites include cities, complex, buildings, monuments, deserts, lakes, mountains, forests, endangered places and the list is open to add more if so required. Currently 851 points on the planet bear the title of World Heritage Site. A committee of 21 countries UN members elected for four years evaluates proposals to include in the list more sites.

Yes the new generation needs to know about our history and how we have evolved. WH sites can show that.
