I don't agree they are the worst to drive on. Of they were, it would be because of congestion. I believe that Manhattan streets are worse, because of both congestion, double parking and aggressive taxi drivers. Many people from out of town and even from the outer boroughs refuse to drive in Manhattan because of those problems.
