I think so!
Brumbies are a wild breed in Australia. They were origiginally horses bought over from England that had been tamed but ran away or got lost and eventually formed a herd and became wild. From this brumbies became quite a common thing. However they were considered a pest and were often gone after and shot or rounded up and sold on. There numbers are now dwindling. However they are great horses as they are toguh and strong and have hardy and good temperaments.
Brumbies affect a variety of burrowing animals and native herbivores. As brumbies eat the native vegetation, this impacts on the food sources of native herbivores such as wombats. Brumbies also affect burrowing amass such as bilbies and marsupial moles, as their hooves impact the ground, sometimes causing burrows to cave in, and sometimes making it too difficult for naive animals to dig.
