Many people hunt the mountain zebra for their unique skins and to feed their familys. Also most of their habitat is being taken over by farmers and ranchers. Many predators, like hyenas,lepords, cheetahs, and wild dogs kill the mountain zebra for food.

The reason why Cape Mountain zebras are endangered is because of ranching and farming....... there are about 600-700 left in the WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!
