This category is the original meaning of "cursing," since these items involve telling people where to go in the afterlife, pronouncing curses on people, or using a spiritual power in the form of a death threat. Also, this category may fall under profanity too, since to "profane" something means to treat it as common, and these words take spiritual matters lightly.

2. Bodily substances and processes. There are rude words for various substances that come out of the body including vulgar slang words for urine, feces, and reproductive fluids. This might fit in more with "vulgarity." The original meaning of vulgar is "common." So common, uneducted people would use these terms, as well those in the other categories, such as improper terms for genitalia.

3. Sexual. This includes rude terms related to the penis, vagina, testes, breasts, various sex acts, rude words for women, and words related to promiscuity or things many consider sexually immoral. This category could also be considered "obscenity."

4. Hate speech. That would include offensive terms based on one's sex/gender, race, sexual orientation, handicap, nationality, or family status (like being an illegitimate child).
