Elephants are not afraid of mice and most often would not even notice a mouse if it was near them. When elephants do notice mice, it is mostly because of a change in their territory, and that can startle the herd animal.

∙ 12y agoElephants seem to be cautious around mice because it seems as though elephants see them as scary exactly how humans may be afraid of Spiders. Humans and elephants are afraid of these creatures even though they may be smaller.
Another reason why this may be true is because elephants may be afraid that this small creature will crawl up its trunk and injure its body. Strangely enough it seems as though mice and elephants are both afraid of each other
