Fossil Fossil are problematic because they are non-renewable. This means that they cannot be recycled or replenished...in other words we can't use them again. The thing that makes this problematic is that we have a very high level of dependency upon them. This is causing the reserves of fossil fuels to decrease drastically. They also damage the environment when used, as they release carbon dioxide which is a greenhouse gas

Examples of fossil fuels that we use are gasoline, oil, etc...
