Solubility (miscibility when concerning two liquids) depends on the solvent and the solute being able to interact with each other through similar intermolecular forces. Water and ethanol can both participate in hydrogen bonding and therefore they are miscible. Cyclohexane is do not have any polar atoms or bonds and therefore can only interact through London dispersion forces, which is incompatible with water since the small size and polar nature of water precludes it from participating in London dispersion force interactions. Cyclohexane will be miscible in other liquids that share its properties, such as octane.
Because a mixture of ethanol and water in any proportions forms a single phase liquid at standard temperature and pressure. That is the meaning of "miscible".
Both water and ethanol have polar molecules.
The polar group -OH of ethanol is bonded to water by hydrogen bonds.
Yes it is. Because they are both not polar.
its a liquid that does not mix in water.
Methanol is miscible in water but Ethyl Acetate is immiscible in water. -- The above answer is correct if asking if each solvent is miscible in water. If you are asking if they are miscible together then the answer is yes, they will mix.
Water molecules have hydrogen bonds between them. Since they cannot form hydrogen bonds with the ethoxyethane molecules, the ethoxyethane molcules are not soluble in water.

Water and ethanol are miscible.
Ethanol and water are miscible. Think of alcoholic drinks, the alcohol and water do not form separate layers.
yes. ethanol and water are soluble / miscible
Very much so, yes. This is why beer, which is typically five to ten percent alcohol and the rest water, presents as a uniform liquid rather than a layer of alcohol floating on top of a mass of water.
Two miscible liquids are: Alcohol and water.Sorry if this isn't what you wanted.
Miscible in/with what? I am going to assume in water. Then, yes, they are miscible.
The polar group -OH of ethanol is bonded to water by hydrogen bonds.
Water and ethanol. Oil is immiscible with either of those.
Ethanol and water are miscible.
Yes it is. Because they are both not polar.
YES!!!! Ethyl alcohol is the alcohol; that humans drink in beers wines and spirits. It is miscible(mixed) with water and other substances to make alcoholic drinks. It modern IUPAC name is 'Ethanol' , and its formula is CH3CH2OH .
