∙ 10y agoAll airports are important because it allows people to travel to other parts of the world out of driving distance. Before airplanes were invented, travellers to other countries had to rely on wooden ships and it took a long time for ships to get from one part of the world to another. This is why airports come in handy and why flight cancellations can be mayhem.
