rocker & preppy are completley different from my perspective, but i'd say just to dress differently. Be more outgoing, & not weird about things, dont make things aqward, & act like you don't care about much, it'll get the cool kids to like you, + dressing in popular clothes helps.. if you have a skin problem, take care of it etc. Rocker and preppy doesn't happen. Be more outgoing, learn what Polos are and own MANY (as in, 30? I currently have 45 or so), go to parties and learn to hold liquor.
