Unfortunately, many school administrators believe that science courses have more value simply because they are more technical and require more knowledge. They believe these factors make students who focus in scientific careers more likely to get a jobs outside of college of high school. However, they failed to remember that not everyone is the same, and certainly not everyone is strong in science! There are many students who are very talented artists such as musicians, potters or painters etc. that deserve as much attention to succeed and grow in the world as those who chose a more technical field to study. Sadly, many people feel that art subjects are of less value and cannot appreciate the beauty and necessity of them, so during budget cuts in schools they are often the first to disappear.
Media studies, English and Art are the main subjects needed to go into advertising.

We all appreciate art, but not everyone wants to be an artist. Same goes for languages, science, and the rest of the subjects listed. Without being exposed to those subjects, it is impossible to know what appeals to you. Be glad these subjects are offered. It would be a boring world without the existence of buildings (math and physics), paintings( art class) and varieties of food to eat (science).
Art and literature were his favourite subjects.
