First off, it's spelled weird, not wierd. Secondly, not all of us are crazy and weird. I am a huge fan of the series, like most girls my age, but I wouldn't pass out if I went to a Twilight convention. There are multitudes of us that are willing to occasionally throw on our 'Team Edward' shirts when the time comes for a midnight premiere, but we aren't the weirdos with the fangs and goth makeup. I do agree that some people take fandom too far, but that percentage of Twilight fans make up about 5% of the Twilight community.
Obsession!
OF course he does. In the Twilight Movie Compainion they quote "I never had this reaction in any of my other movies. I was thrilled and surprised when Twilight became such a hit. Fans everywhere can get really crazy, but I am glad they care."

A clown.
Being crazy and acting weird ARE symptoms. You'd better rethink your question.
When in a daily conversation, certain things remind you of phrases from the characters of the Twilight Saga, you find yourself scanning stores for the faces of Edward Cullen or Jacob Black or (maybe) Bella Swan, you're helping the cast of Twilight swim in their money by buying every kind of merchandise that involves anything Twilight, or you have weird dreams about it.
