Because some churches aren't even Christian! So many people assume if you go to "church" that you are Christian. I attend a Unitarian Universalist CHURCH. I am Agnostic, and I know members who are Quaker, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, and Pagan.

That's the easiest and hardest question to answer. First, not all churches are Christian. Second, look at when churches were built. I don't know where you live, but if you live near a big city, I imagine they have old churches. I live in Pittsburgh which has churches that are over 100 years old. The churches follow what the trends are architecturally current. Same as houses. Why don't all houses look the same then?? It also depends on what materials are available to a particular area.

No, only one church was ever founded by God, and that would be the Catholic Church. "And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth. Going therefore, teach ye all nations; baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world. Matthew 28: 18-20
