As we all know , bat's (chiroptera) have extremely poor eyesight and hence it hardly makes any difference if it hunts during the day or at night . Bats mostly feed on moths and other small insects which themselves are nocturnal creatures ( ie. come out of hiding after daylight) by using their ultrasonic soundwaves and sound receptors hence it does not really matter if it huts during day or at night but it is the type of diet it takes which has caused a few adaptive features such as poor nightvision in the species.
