Why can't kids cuss?

Cuss/swearing is normally viewed as unwholesome language which many people find offensive, else especially by those who are more senior in age. Teaching kids not to cuss is exactly the same as teaching them to say please and thank you, or not go to the toiled on the next door neighbor's garden. There is nothing special about cuss words they are just traditionally viewed as offensive, so it's not just kids who should be careful who they cuss around, but adults also.

Profanity (cussing) is rude, disrespectful, and generally bad behavior anywhere.

When you are in school, or someone's home it is unacceptable to use such language.

What you choose to do outside of school is your own business, but remember that speech patterns tend to be automatic and it if you "cuss" in private you will most likely "cuss" at an inappropriate time.

The English language (as with most other languages in existence) has a great many superlative adjectives, diverse nouns, and descriptive verbs, being able to express yourself well, without using expletives will show you are a well educated and cultured individual.

As my Grandfather used to let us, "Profanity is the last resort of an uneducated, inarticulate or crude person."

No, not only is it unpleasant to hear a person cuss (especially a child), if the parent cares for the future life and social employ ability of their child, they will impress on them that cussing will likely restrict their future life options.
