Solid rock can (and does) flow. However the when rock mets its viscosity becomes less than the viscocity of a solid and the rate of low becomes perceptible to human senses.
flow
It cannot flow because its not hot
Solid is rigid, has a definite shape and volume, and cannot flow like liquid. The atoms in a solid are tightly bound to each other. The molecules in solids are closely bound together, they can only vibrate, which explains why they cannot change their shape without a force applied
Simply, there are three types of matter (which scientists call states), solid, liquid and gas. Liquids and gasses can flow. Solids do not. The solid state is defined by the fact that solids can not flow.
The state of matter is actually to states of matter. Solid and liquid are the states of matter that have a volume,(liquid) and shape(solid).
flow
liquid's particles are not as close as to that of the solid the very reason why it cannot be held.because of this ability of liquid to flow, it affects the forces of a liquid to flow thoroughly.
Solids do not flow. The particles in a solid cannot change places so a solid will keep its shape (unless it is broken).
It cannot flow because its not hot
This depends on how dense the solid is, and how dense the liquid is.
solid
It cannot flow because its not hot
A solid.
liquid and gas because they both have an ability to flow
It is solid as it doesn't flow like a liquid or has vast space between its molecules like gases.
in some cases yes e.g sugar is a solid but moves like a liquid so yes solids can flow
no it cant
