People tend not to believe in the Loch Ness Monster because nobody has produced credible proof in real life that it exists. Sure, there have been photographs of body parts sticking up out of the sea, but there is no telling what creatures they belong to. Other photos show a blurry creature, but the photos are too bad to authenticate or even make out what is in them. So therefore, in the minds of many, it's not real.

There are a number of reasons. There are no photographs, films, or videos of it that have been verified to be real. A lake the size of Loch Ness could not support an animal of that size. Most descriptions of the Loch Ness Monster are consistent with a plesiosaur. Plesiosaurs were reptiles that lived in salt water, not fresh water, and went extinct more than 60 million years ago.

There are several possible answers. The first and most obvious is that these creatures do not exist, therefore there will be no proof of the creature. That being said there has been some proof for all three at least according to experts in the field. Other possibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Aliens: Space is a very large expanse that is ever increasing. It is entirely possible that our limited technology has yet to sight an extraterrestrial. As it is humanity has difficulty determining what the surface of Pluto looks like, much less what the surface of some planet across the galaxy. Additionally it has been suggested that there is proof that the world governments are hiding from the citizens.
  2. Bigfoot: Bigfoot is suggested to live in the backwoods of America. In these areas there is very little population and it is more than possible that a large creature could remain hidden. Additionally Bigfoot is supposed to be at least as intelligent as other Great Apes, and could be actively trying to conceal itself.
  3. Nessie: Loch Ness is massive and dark. It would be very easy for a large aquatic animal to conceal itself in the waters of Loch Ness. Additionally Loch Ness connects with the Ocean by way of the River Ness making it even more possible that such a creature could go unnoticed by going out to sea.

Going back to the Mid 1980s there was a famous picture that showed "the Loch Ness Monster" perched on the water side with its neck and head showing. this was proven to be false and caused by local delinquents. This lead to disbelief to most people of Nessie

Most likely because it does not exist. A lake as small as Loch Ness could not support an animal that size.

Nobody has ever managed to take a clear photograph of it or find any solid proof like bones or scales or poop or anything.
