Windows 7 Movie Maker is actually the essential Window Live Movie Maker program.
You can add music to it easily.
Simply click the Add Music button in the top menu ribbon
(Note: the feature is not available if there is no Photo/Video Media present)
Rip the music from the CD (using the feature in Windows Media Player). Once you have the files on your computer, locate and import them into Windows Movie Maker.

You can record on Windows Movie Maker by using the Narration feature. (Note: There is no Narration feature in the Windows Live Movie Maker version).

You need some movie editing software. If you are using a Windows computer you should have Windows Movie Maker already on your computer.

If you are using Windows 7 Movie Maker, it is a Windows Live Essentials version of the Windows Movie Maker 2.6 version. It is a 'stripped-down' version with limited features and functionality. Bottom line - you can't do much with Windows Live Movie Maker, including insertion of WordArt.
