Yes,Asthma is a very serious medical condition, though you need'nt worry because,If you watch over your asthma you will be just fine...but you must watch over your health and diet too.If you don't,well, you can have an asthma attack that will lead you to death.....So don't eat things that are too cold or cold fruits too often.Bye!:D
An Asthma attack can be life threatening because when you have an asthma attack you're bronchi holes close up and could potentially never open back up and you can choke to death.
If you have an asthma attack, sit up right in a chair and try to take deep, slow breathes and take the inhaler your doctor has given you. If after 10 minutes you still cannot breathe easily, it would be best to call 999 or 911 (depends where you are in the world) and ask for an ambulance.

Asthma is not a contagious disease, it is a medical condition.
Asthma can become very serious if not treated properly, some times people will outgrow this condition.
Asthma
The condition that Todd Amos has is a lung disease called asthma
Asthma is a condition and not an infectious disease.
The characteristic whistling sound is known as respiratory wheezing and occurs most often in people with asthma. My recommendation is that you consult a medical practitioner (doctor) to have your symptoms evaluated. You may be diagnosed with asthma or it may simply be a cough or inflammation of the trachea. If you are experiencing breathlessness or chest pain, call an ambulance immediately or seek urgent medical attention as this could indicate the onset of a more serious medical condition.
Someone's chest caving in can be very serious. If the person has asthma it is probably a attack and they should use their inhaler or take a breathing treatment. If that does not help or the person does not have asthma seek medical help immediately.
It is not possible to know who was first diagnosed with Asthma as there was no record of the person's name or identity. Asthma was first officially recorded as a medical condition or problem in 450BC by Hippocrates in Greece.
The word asthma is a noun. Asthma is a respiratory condition.
"Asmah" is simply a common mis-spelling of the condition known as asthma. See the answer to "what is asthma?" for more information on this condition.
