Since it does not reflect light. You can only see yourself in a mirror because it reflects light back into your eye, paper does not do this therefore you cant see yourself

the reason is that the light rays are reflected in many directions because of the uneven surface.

Can a real image be seen if you place a screen where the image is focused?

Yes. That's a good quick way to determine whether or not a real image exists. You can also use a piece of thin tissue paper, kleenex, or toilet paper, and see the image from the other side. Put a piece of photosensitive material there at the real image, and you get a permanent photo.

How can one fix a paper jam in a photocopier?

Generally, a paper jam in a photocopier can be fixed by removing the piece of paper that is clogging the machine. This can be discovered by opening the side panels where the paper flows through to see if the paper is lodged there. Specific instructions may be available on the inside of those panels or on the control screen that many such machines now have. Once this task is complete, sometimes adjusting the paper in the tray is necessary for the change to be registered.

Why cant you see your image reflected in a sheet of paper?

A sheet of paper simply isn't shiny or smooth enough. It may seem quite smooth, but actually the particles are quite rougher than the particles of a mirror, for example. Obviously, it isn't a very shiny material.

The light is absorbed by the black ink and reflected by the white paper surrounding the ink. That is why you can see the ink clearly.
