They were never married & only went on one date when they first met & there was no chemistry. That's what she said, but due to their being in a group people thought they were married. However, they had a disagreement & he hit her. From that moment, after 6 years of working together (she's the songwriter & piano player), she refused to work with him anymore. He tried to sue her lying that he wrote the songs but it was easy to prove in court. She also was very instrumental in later producing her husband Ron Isley.
