Sookie and Bill didn't break up, in fact they are technically engaged (they would have made it official but Bill was kidnapped).
They haven't broken up YET permanently. If the show stays true to the books they should be over this season (3), and it will be when Sookie learns Bill was sent to Bon Temps by the Queen Sophie Ann for the distinct purpose of investigating Sookie.
In the books, Bill and Sookie are permanantly broken up because Bill was unfaithful to Sookie by sleeping with Lorena his former lover, and maker.
The reason why Bill go out with Sookie is because of the queen to gather information. Then once they got to know each other they fell in love<3 :) I say I like Eric but I love Bill so much more and I rather state that I want Bill Compton and Sookie Stackhouse to be together NOT ERIC, but we will see~ Anyays that's the reason why he went out with her :)
Bill betrayed Sookie by lying to her about their entire relationship. He was actually sent by the queen to retrieve Sookie and he lied during their relationship.
She does not end up with Bill, it actually turns out he was forced to go out with her but supposedly he fell in love in the process. He cheats on her with his maker and she doesn't really ever forgive him.... at least so far. Also, he's annoying, and a jerk, and superficial, and a liar, and thoroughly annoying!also, the author, Charlaine Harris has said that Sookie does not end up with a vampiremy moneys on Sam or QuinnSo far in book 9, Dead and Gone she 'married' Eric, he tricked her into it, kind of, but the were a couple and said that the King could have taken Sookie away from her home.I find it quite sad because i liked Sookie with Bill and I don't like Eric!!Hopefully Sharlaine Harris will change her mind, because the books are yet to be writteni want sookie with bill hes much better! Eric forces sookie to drink his blood he is a cheat and a liarSookie ends up with Eric, and according to Charlaine Harris, that's not going to change. And personally, I think Eric is way better for Sookie then Bill ever was. He wasn't forced to love Sookie the way he does, and eventually, Sookie accepts the love she has for Eric. And sure, Eric lies, but that's just Eric's way, and he's totally hot about it. I love Eric, he's perfect for Sookie. Got tema Eric Northman!! :D
It is very mature material, especially after book three. So until they're 16+, I wouldn't reccommend it. It's nothing a teenager won't already know, and it doesn't go into any explicit detail ---- it just depends on what you want them to be reading. It does have some sex, and some severe fighting. ------------------------ well, it really depends on the maturity level of the person. Frankly, I'm in middle school and i am infatuated with the sookie novels. I watch the show and it is the most attention-grabbing program on television! So as to speak, if you're a teen and u want to excel on a more mature level of reading then go for it.
Well...If you watch the 2nd season you'll see that there is an entire 3 day process that she would have to go through in order to become a vampire. I also think that all of her blood has to be drained. =)
It's season 2 episode 4, Shake and Fingerpop.
APPARENTLY, Sookie gets married to Eric in the 8th book (From Dead to Worse), which i haven't read yet, I am only on the 6th one. But in the one I'm on now, she and Bill are no longer together, but she also isn't with Eric either. But i have heard that it is in fact Eric she gets with in the end. - That is unless they split up in the 10th one that isn't out yet - .
