Night was written by Elie Wiesel to describe his experiences in Nazi concentration camps in World War 2. It has been a very long time since I read this book and this is what I remember about it.

"Night" by Elie Wiesel serves as a memoir that documents his experiences as a teenager during the Holocaust, specifically focusing on his time at Auschwitz and Buchenwald. The overall purpose of the book is to bear witness to the atrocities of the Holocaust, to emphasize the importance of remembering the past, and to warn against the dangers of indifference and inhumanity.
The book, 'Night' by Elie Wiesel, is the haunting story of a boy whose entire family is put into the concentration camps during World War II. His family passes away, but the boy lives. However, he is not the person he was before the experience of the camps. The book is heartbreaking and devastating, but it is very good and worth reading.
It is about the Holocaust during World War 2 - about Hitler"s "Final Solution", which was to annihilate all Jews. He sent them to extermination camps. where they were either gassed or worked to death. Elie Wiesel survived.
The book Night by Eliezer Wiesel is about him being in a concentration camp and suffering appalling ill-treatment simply for being Jewish - not for anything that he had done. It is a great book in my opinion.
This book is about a young boy Eliezer Wiesel who finds himself in a death camp. The Jews where okay with the death camp, because they didn't know that it was a death camp. Later he finds out that the Germans are trying to hide all the Jews, and hes stuck in the middle of it. Hitler is trying to make his "Final Solution" this is in the middle of World War ll
For Wiesel, he wanted to show us readers how he didn't lose faith during his imprisonment. That's actually his overall theme- faith. He started off as a student studying the Talmud with hopes of one day studying the Cabala. His faith in God was everlasting and he truly believed that no one could change his view on God. Upon arrival at Auschwitz, Wiesel saw first hand how innocent people were being killed and his enemies didn't seem remorseful. He then started to question His existence.
"For the first time, I felt revolt rise up in me. Why should I bless His name? The Eternal, Lord of the Universe, the All-Powerful and Terrible, was silent. What had I to thank Him for" (31)?
"Never shall I forget that night, the first night in camp, which has turned my life into one long night, seven times cursed and seven times sealed. Never shall I forget that smoke. Never shall I forget the little faces of the children whose bodies I saw turned into wreaths of smoke beneath a silent blue sky.
Never shall I forget those flames which consumed my faith forever.
Never shall I forget that nocturnal silence which deprived me, for all eternity, of the desire to live. Never shall I forget those moments which murdered my God and my soul and turned my dreams to dust. Never shall I forget these things, even if I am condemned to live as long as God Himself. Never" (32).
"Why, but why should I bless Him? In every fiber, I rebelled. Because He had had thousands of children burned in his pits? Because He kept six crematories working night and day, on Sundays and feast days? Because on His great might, He had created Auschwitz, Bierkenau, Buna, and so many factories of death" (64)?
Because people didn't want to hear about the Holocaust.
Some wanted to turn there heads to this event and act like it didn't happen.
Dr. Elie Wiesel tells his own personal story that tells other wise that it DID happen and it's NOT made up.
um to educate people of his experiences in the Holocaust?
You!
