Why doesn't Harry Potter use the time-turner to save his parents?

Hermione had to hand the time turner back when she gave up two classes therefore allowing her to have a normal timetable which meant they didn't have a time-turner and couldn't get another one because they smashed the ministry's whole supply of them during the fight. Even if they could get one you must not meet yourself during the time-travel and as Harry was always standing next to Sirius he couldn't have done it, neither could Hermione as she was knocked out during the battle and Harry was aware of this and Ron was also incapable after his brain had been altered by the brains he touched... besides it was part of the plot that Sirius die.

∙ 12y agoSame reason there was no chance of Voldemort killing Harry Potter when he had the opportunity. Because J.K Rowling didn't want that to happen. Also, it can cause a paradox, because if he saves his parents he'll never have the motivation to go back and time and save them, thus they won't be saved. However this paradox theory was disregarded in the series, because the same thing applies to buck beak and Sirius.
