Well, I assume that she was extremely tired after writing 7 of the most amazing novels ever written, but of course there's not a single person in this world that's not begging her to write another. C'mon, J K Rowling, make a series about all the kids!

She wrote One book for each of the seven school years.

Each book encompasses a year of school they all start just before he starts school and ends at the end of term.

Book 7 isn't about a school year however he takes a year out then
