Of the five women that where once thought the only victims three were missing organs. Annie Chapman's uterus was taken. Eddows was missing the left kidney and most of her uterus. Mary Kelly's murder was the most brutal to date. Kelly's body had been completely emptied of every organ except her brain.

With few exceptions he did.* The brutality of his crimes escalated with each victim, which is common for serial killers. As he got better at his work the mutilations got much worse. Not only did he take out organs he kept some. In the case of Katherine Eddows a kidney was missing at the crime scene. Half of it showed up with the Lusk letter, preserved in alcohol. By the time of Mary Kelly's murder the Ripper was in a frenzy. The only organ intact was Kelly's brain. Everything else had been ripped out, some missing, others arranged around the body or the room she was murdered in.

*Early Ripper victims did not have the horrible mutilations as the later victims. Victim Elizabeth Stride sustained only a slit throat due to the the killer being interrupted by a man walking by.

Most serial killers will take a "trophy" from the victim or crime scene which later they use to reminisce about the murder. In certain circumstances, the killer will even eat pieces of his victims. Jeffrey Dahmer is a good example. Dahmer ate parts of victims as a way to re-live the murders and by eating the victims they became a part of him (in Dahmer's mind anyway).

Because Jack the Ripper was never apprehended there a few facts that can be confirmed as true. But the victims bodies tell of a man with a deep hatred toward females. It certainly is evident that the Ripper's victims somehow enraged him, spurring him on to extreme over-kill.

No one knows for sure. There are rumours that he ate them. But the popular thought is that he kept them as souviners, like most serial killers do.

What did Jack The Ripper do to Elizabeth Stride?

Of all Jack's victims Stride got off easy. Because he was interrupted by a man with a pony cart the Ripper had to flee before he could mutilate her body. But he did have time to cut her throat, nearly decapitating her.

Has the body of Jack the Ripper been found?

No.

Was Jack the Ripper Jose Rizal?

for me rizal is the number one suspect for being JTR Jose Rizal is possibly Jack the Ripper. Rizal's acts are unknown when he left the library or at night. He has a love of women and so as Jack the Ripper. He is a doctor and highly educated and Jack the Ripper uses medicine to kill his victims and cut off their body parts. For me it's 70 percent the Jose is Jack the Ripper. As per discussion it is highly unlikely that Rizal would be JTR. JTR had a hatred for women which is evident in his murders. He had to blend in to the east end and I doubt a person of hispanic decent would blend in at all. It is also evident from the butchered bodies of his victims that JTR had no special medical training and there has never been any evidence that would indicate the killer used medicine to kill his victims. Their throats were slit, almost to the point of decapitation, and then the were gutted like a fish. This is not the work of someone who loves women.

What is the signfiancance of newspaper wrapped parcel in the Jack the Ripper?

A constant theme running through the Jack the Ripper correspondence was that the writer would of send a body part from one of his victims victim to the police but the letters that arrived in the wake of the original Jack the Ripper missive, contained only, among other artworks crude drawings of female forms with jagged cuts helpfully illustrating where on the bodies the author would make his incisions or mutilations. One time, a package arrived wrapped in brown paper arrived with a piece of kidney from one of the victims. at time time, police didn't have equipment to test it and they could not be sure it was a human kidney.

Did Jack the Ripper kill all his victims the same way?

There are 5 generally accepted victims, this has been debated because Marie Kelly, the last victim was killed indoors. Jack the Ripper's MO was to kill prostitutes by cutting their throat from left to right and then he would mutilate the body. The mutilation was thought by doctors to have some medical knowledge because the Ripper used his knife swiftly and carried out dissections although other doctors disagreed. Jack could have also been into death fetishism as it was said that he had removed a uterus from one victim and a kidney from another.

What were the names of Jack the Ripper's parents?

He was never apprehended so no body knows his parent's names.

Did Jack the Ripper kill Frances Coles?

Although not originally thought to have been the victim of Jack the Ripper, Frances Coles death on Friday 13, 1891 had many similarites with the previous Whitechapel victims. PC Ernest Thompson was walking his beat and had passed the spot where Coles body was found around 15 minutes later. He testified that the body had not been there. He also claimed to have heard a man's footsteps walking in the opposite direction as he came upon the body. It is true that Coles did not receive the horrible wounds as other Ripper victims but in light of the fact that PC Thompson heard footsteps it was more than likely this was the killer leaving the scene. This is very similar to the murder of Elizabeth Stride, found with her throat sliced to the vertibrae yet no futher mutilations. The Ripper was interrupted at the Berner St. crime scene and barely escaped undiscovered. I believe this is exactly what happened in the Coles murder. Lastly, while not exactly scientific, the striking resemblance of many of the Ripper's victims is evident, this includes Frances Coles. The opinions of the men who hunted the hunter, detectives at Scotland Yard, were confident Coles murder was a Ripper crime.

What punishment did Jack the Ripper get?

No body ever found out who Jack the Ripper was although there are a few theories as to who it was. One theory was that it was an American doctor called Dr Francis Tumblety. He died at the end of the 1800's which was about the time the Jack the Ripper killings stopped. When Jack the Ripper killed the woman, the cuts would be very precise, like the murderer knew what he was doing. Doctors tend to be precise when cutting bodies to operate on them meaning it could quite easily be Tumblety. //While it is true that the killer known as Jack the Ripper was never apprehended, to say the wounds on the bodies of the victims were precise is inaccruate. True to his name, Jack the Ripper literally ripped into his victims in the exact opposite of precise. The debate still rages on about whether the killer could have been a medical doctor due to the fact that he cut out internal organs. Again, the killer showed no particular skills and could have quite easily obtained an anatomy book which would have given him a general idea the location of internal organs. Although JTR was never caught he quite possibly may have "looked over his shoulder" for the rest of his life. Never knowing if or when police may have discovered his dirty deeds.//

Was Jack The Ripper an organ donor?

No he was a brutal murderer and found it fun, it seemed, to kill female prostitutes and rip out their organs or brutally hack at the body until they looked inhuman. He might have collected the body parts, but he certainly didn't donate them to a good cause.

What were the names of the ladies Jack The Ripper killed?

The 19th century serial killer known as Jack The Ripper killed at least 6 women, all working as prostitutes in London's east end district known as Whitechapel. Since this famous killer was never caught there are differing opinions as to how many victims he really had. I will list the victims that most likely are the Ripper's victims. Martha Tabram was found murdered on August 7, 1888. Mary Ann 'Polly' Nichols, found murdered in the early morning hours of August 31, 1888. On September 8, 1888 Annie Chapman was found with her throat cut and disembowelled, at least one organ taken. Next was what is known as the 'double event'. Elizabeth Stride was murdered on September 30, 1888, less than an hour later and less than 1 mile from Stride's body, Catherine Eddows was found, throat slit and severely mutilated. On November 9, 1888, Mary Jane Kelly was found murdered and mutilated beyond recognition. The only known photo of Kelly was taken by police at her rented room in 13 Miller's Court, Whitechapel. Every organ had been removed from her body cavity with the exception of her brain. Her heart must have been taken by the Ripper because it was never found. For reasons that are unclear, interest in the Ripper and his crimes seemed to fade after the murder of Mary Kelly. That does not mean that the killer was finished. There were a number of murders consistant with the Ripper's other crimes but were barely reported in the papers of the day. Other victims that are not generally known to the public are Alice McKenzie, an unidentified mutilated body known as the Pinchin Street Corpse found on September 10, 1889, dismembered body parts found on December 13, 1889, the body of Frances Coles, a prostitute working in the Whitechapel district, on February 13, 1891. More dismembered female body parts found in June 1902, and the body of prostitute Emily Dimmock, Camden Town, in 1907. As is true for most serial killers, Jack The Ripper did not stop killing. It was reported erroneously that Mary Kelly was his last victim. Far from it. These kinds of killers will continue to kill unless they are caught, they are incarcerated, they become sick and infirm and/or die, or they just get too old and the urge to kill decreases over years as they slip into old age. This is the most likely scenario for the killer known Saucy Jack, aka, Jack The Ripper.

How was Annie Chapman Killed by Jack The Ripper?

As the Ripper was never identified or caught any motive is pure conjecture A lot of killers don't understand why they pick the victims they do. Opportunity has something to do with it no doubt. But most go for a certain look. Ted Bundy liked brunettes with long hair. All of his victims were pretty and clean cut looking. They looked like what the they were, college students. If you look at the pictures available of the Ripper victims, not just the '5' but others that the police knew belonged to the Ripper. Most of them resemble each other. It was a look that appealed to him for whatever reasons. If you look at the pictures of Annie Chapman she resembled many of his other victims. So why he picked her was probably a combination of opportunity and she looked like what he wanted. There were many women in the same sorry state that the Rippers victims were in. Homeless, poor, alcoholic, and for the most part, living on the fringes of society. They made easy prey. And when one turned up dead it seemed no family members were outraged on their behalf. But he didn't take them. He took the ones that fit what he wanted.
