She didn't, was scratched by Mason ( Alex's boyfriend ) who was a werewolf , when a werewolf scratches a vampire, the vampire looks there real age. Juliet bit Mason and he turned into a wolf.

Juliet is over 3,000 years old, there is no way she could live with Justin forever ( she will die ) :(
